Me and my Lucy!

I’m truly at a loss for words to describe my feelings at the official “Lucy the Lob’STAR” book launch that took place Saturday February 1st at Capt Kat's Lobster Shack in Barrington, NS. To say I was overwhelmed by the response would be an understatement! From the young to the young at heart, so many people battled the winter weather to stop by and say hi and share my Lucy with their friends and families.

Many thanks to the Lucy team who made this possible - I could not have done this without you (nor would I have wanted to!).

• Suzy Atwood, Municipality of Barrington - thank you for coordinating the event and the awesome decor, from the backdrop to the lobster balloons to the lobster cookies and cake!

• Donna Hatt - thank you for your constant energy and for corralling the young ones for an animated reading of the book!

• Alain Bosse, The Kilted Chef - thank you for recording so many moments and for taking over the lunch hosting duties!

• Sam Crowell, Barrington Museum Complex - thank you for bringing Lucy to life!
